Global Awareness and Engagement - 3/28
In what ways, both in and out of the classroom, do we demonstrate global awareness and engagement by helping students respect, engage, and learn from global perspectives and sources, understand global connectedness and mutuality of theological education, and increase their capacities for service and learning in globally interconnected contexts? In what ways to we help seminary faculty and staff do the same?
Please note that ATS does not provide a specific definition of the uniqueness of "intercultural competence" vs. "global awareness and engagement" - this will be up to us to articulate.
We will use information from this prompt to build a sample bibliography of works, tools, experiences, etc. that our students have the opportunity to be exposed to and be formed by in regard to global awareness and engagement.
