Intercultural Competence - 3/28
In what ways, both in and out of the classroom, do we demonstrate intercultural competence by helping students understand, respect, engage, and learn from diverse communities and multicultural perspectives? In what ways do we help seminary faculty and staff do the same?
Please note that ATS does not provide a specific definition of the uniqueness of "intercultural competence" vs. "global awareness and engagement" - this will be up to us to articulate.
We will use information from this prompt to build a sample bibliography of works, tools, experiences, etc. that are students have the opportunity to be exposed to and be formed by in regard to intercultural competence.
