Learning Covenant Submission (due 9/9)

Overview

• The SPM learning covenant is the core outline of the focus areas of the internship experience. 
• Students will work with site supervisors to construct the position description and goals within the covenant.
• This form must be completed and signed by all parties by 9/9/24.

Instructions

• To complete the learning covenant, first consult the Completing a Learning Covenant Guide and the Learning Goals Guide.
• When ready to complete the learning covenant, use the SPM Learning Covenant template document attached below. 
• Students and site supervisors should work together to select a competency for the ministry and leadership.
• Students and site supervisors should work together to construct learning goals, resources, and means of feedback for the ministry focus and the leadership focus. 
• Students should select competencies for the spiritual and self-care areas. 
• Students should construct learning goals, resources, and means of feedback for the spiritual and self-care focus areas. 
• Complete the attached Word document and collect signatures in one of two ways: 
• Type and print the document, collect physical signatures, then scan the document.
• Type and email the document to collect a email "signatures," then forward the email chain to Dr. Ward at LWard@dbq.edu. 
• Upload a completed SPM Learning Covenant to this assignment link. If form is emailed, no submission is necessary in this dropbox.
• The form is due, including all parties' signatures, no later than Monday, 9/9/24.

Completion

• Upon receiving the completed form, Dr. Ward will review and attach a copy to this assignment dropbox with any necessary comments or required changes.
• This form is required no later than 9/9/24 and feedback will be provided within 48 hours, whenever possible.
