  • In Unit 1, we begin with introductions and learn how we engage with one another virtually. The information below will frame who UDTS is as an educational institution through a welcome from our Dean and review of several key documents that structure who we are and what we do. Then you will have the chance to introduce yourself to us through a brief series of discussion forums and forms. Please review the information in this unit in the order presented. Each item will show completion after it is opened and the provided instructions are completed. This unit will take up to approximately one hour to complete.

    Introduction to Online Tools

    UDTS utilizes Moodle as the learning management system where all online learning tools will be housed. The resources in this section will help you become familiar with the primary learning tools that will be used by your courses as well as other technologies that facilitate communication and student records. Login credentials for these tools are universal and were provided to you via email following your acceptance letter.
