UDTS Adjunct and Affiliate Faculty: MediaSite - Video Lecture Recording

MediaSite offers a simple way to record and share video lectures for courses.

Go to https://media.dbq.edu/Mediasite
In the upper right corner click the purple Gu button (guest user) and click Sign In to log in

Log in using your username and password
If prompted, select the mutlifactor authentication of your choice to complete your login (email, text, authenticator app)
Once logged in, click your initials, and select My Mediasite

Faculty are expected to have some lecture content provided to students each week as part of the learning materials provided for the course
It is not required that faculty use MediaSite to record lectures; other tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, YouTube, etc. may be used
Videos and visual aids should be easily viewed, heard, and understood
All attempts at ensuring accessibility for differently abled viewers should be made including transcription, attaching slides or documents separately for later viewing, providing alternate text for any images that you do not explain, annunciating clearly and using proper English language throughout, etc.
