The recent trip to John Calvin Presbytery was a great experience of building connections and becoming known as the seminary that "meets folks where they are." (Dean McCaw)
I would love to see more of these teaching opportunities happen and participate in them as well. While they may not immediately lead to students, they will 1) serve, 2) make us no longer the best kept secret, 3) build trust. And down the line, it may translate into students, but even if it doesn't, it is a good thing to do!
While I would love to see Episcopal students, we may find ACNA folks are also interested in what we offer. I am going to a conference this coming week at Nashotah House which is hosting seminary and undergraduate faculty to discuss theological education. The participant list is Wheaton, Baylor, United, Azuza, Trinity School for Ministry, Biola, and others.
