IN721 Addiction & Grace
IN722 Vocational Holiness & Faithfulness
MN 531 Discipleship & Teaching 1 focuses on ongoing process of reflecting on popular culture and how to communicate the Gospel for the current era; it also looks at the liturgy of the Church as the means for on-going catechesis. The course offers a method for theological reflection that students practice using in their ministry context, with the view that this method can help them for the rest of their lives in ministry.
MN532 Discipleship & Teaching 2 focused on how the brain learns (How the Brain Learns, David Sousa, written by a specialist in the science of learning). We learn that the brain learns over the course of a life, not just in specific seasons. The other main text is on a contemplative approach to teaching, and a life-long way of being for the educator (The Teacher's Way, Maria Lichtmann)
The CEP program offers the opportunity for people to explore topics, regardless of their vocational goals.
