Hold events for intenational students to share about home countries - such as Gilo Agwa and the people of the Gambella, Ekram Kachu and her family in Sudan, Paul Both and the Neur people in South Sudan. Gilo presented on the Human Rights Watch "Gambella Report" in 2016.
A beaded bowl was presented to the Dean at commencement banquet in recognition of these shared interests. Gilo visits periodically and faculty attended his ordination in MN. Mementos from these parts of the world were displayed for several years in an educational display at the entrance to the seminary building until renovation in 2022.
