    • UDTS Rose Window IconUnit 3 reviews the dynamic worship and social elements of the UDTS community. You will explore how we worship together and how relationships are formed and developed into a robust community of learning and discipleship. Please review the information in this unit in the order presented. Each item will show completion after it is opened and the provided instructions are completed. This unit will take up to approximately two hours to complete.

      Worship is the center of our life together. With opportunities to connect in person and online, we offer weekly chapel and prayer services throughout most of the year, and daily services during residencies.

    • Community Life

      In this section you will explore elements of community life at UDTS. This is a place where you will meet people who are 21 and who are 75. You will worship with your brothers and sisters who are immigrants or from around the world. We will share the Lord's Supper with our brothers and sisters who are LGBTQIA and those who are from a variety of denominations. What we all hold in common is the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ, who is the Head of the Body, and a call to serve all of the children of God. We do not require our students to subscribe to a particular faith statement or confession or social expression of values, but love all God's people as family.

      Health boundaries allow communities and individuals to thrive and interact in mutually respectful ways. The resources in this section are made available to ensure an awareness of community health, viability and safety. Topics covered in this section contain references to sexual harassment and assault. These topics may be challenging for some participants, but they are essential for community safety and wellbeing.
