    The purpose of this page is to provide cooperating and supervising teachers with the resources and dates needed to meet the reporting requirements of student teaching.

Prior to January 2 (or during week of January 2-5)
Week of January 8 - 12 (Week 2)

    Student Teacher Responsibilities:

    • Initial meeting between cooperating, supervising, and student teacher to plan placement.
    • Complete lesson plan and journal as assigned in Livetext. (Lesson plan - end of day Friday; Journal - end of day Sunday)

    Cooperating Teacher Responsibilities:
    • Initial meeting between cooperating, supervising, and student teacher to plan placement.
    • Provide daily feedback and support.
    University Supervisor Responsibilities:
    • Line up an initial meeting between cooperating, supervising, and student teacher to plan placement.
    • Option: Formal Observation meeting and feedback. (Eight-week placements - minimum of four observations; Sixteen-week placement - minimum of eight observations)
      • Submit to Vicki Tilson via email.
