  Second eight-week placement begins.  

  Student Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Begin second eight-week placement
  • Schedule an initial meeting with cooperating, supervising, and student teacher to plan placement, if new eight-week placement
    
  • Complete lesson plan and journal as assigned in Livetext. (Lesson plan - end of day Friday; Journal - end of day Sunday)

  Cooperating Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily feedback and support.
  • If new eight-week placement, have an initial meeting with university supervisor and student teacher to plan placement. 
    

  University Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Option: Formal Observation meeting and feedback. (Eight-week placements - minimum of four observations; Sixteen-week placement - minimum of eight observations)
  • Submit to Vicki Tilson via email.
  • For new eight-week placement, schedule an initial meeting with cooperating teacher and student teacher to go over expectations and plan placement.
